The Best Rolls

Thanks for doing this Brooke! I have to agree that these are the best rolls. They are my grandma's recipe. But everything was mmm mmm good. Enjoy!

Dissolve 2Tbls yeast in 1/2 c warm water
Add: 1/2 c warm water
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c lukewarm milk
2 eggs

Mix together with electric mixer. Add 2 cups flour and mix. Add 2 more cups, mix. Add up to 5 more cups of flour and mix (I usually add about 4 and have to use a wooden spoon since the hand mixer gets clogged) until dough is not sticky but still soft. Let rise 1 hour. Roll onto floured surface about 1/2" thick. Use a glass dipped in flour to cut dough into circles. Fold circles in half and put on cookie sheet to rise for 30-45 minutes, until doubled. Bake 375 for about 15-20 minutes. Just watch to make sure tops are golden brown, so much better if not over cooked. Take from oven and rub butter on tops to make moist.

*This makes about 50 rolls, but they freeze really well or can be cut in half easily. If you cut in half, watch when you add the extra flour because you will use less.
